Meaning Behind the Name:

Vermiculture is the cultivation of worms, and our worm food is fortified with Bio-Char, hence the name Vermi-Char. Our Vermi-Char Worm Castings are a superior product to your typical worm castings.

Why This Product is Special:

Growers know the importance of worm castings, worms have long been seen as making the most perfect medium for plants to uptake. Why? ProBiotics. The worms excrement or castings contain thousands of different species of bacteria, fungi, protozoa and other microbes that give LIFE to your soil. When we add Bio-Char to the worm’s food, all those beneficial microbes now have a home, and they can live inside the Bio-Char indefinitely. When added to your garden soil you have just introduced a whole new cast of characters that work in the soil, breaking down organic matter into nutrients your plants can readily uptake.
