KOP strives to be of service in its community with intent and purpose while fostering partnerships and collaborations with other organizations. They are “People helping people helping people” and are focused on “Aina-based recovery”. Our partnership with them began in late 2020 with volunteer days on the farm. Dragon Heart Farm’s hosts the KOP N. Kohala office on its farm site. Together the organizations are working to develop Men of PA’A programming in N. Kohala to address recovery needs through service and peer-based recovery focused on the farm and with other local organizations needing a workforce.

Ripe mamey fruit has a creamy texture similar to avocado and a taste that subjective palates may describe as a combination between sweet potato, apricot, and pumpkin.

How do you use Sapote?
