Touching The Earth Farm

A Day In The Life At Dragon Heart Farm

3 Feb
Dragon Heart Farm

As the sun rises, the birds begin to chirp; awaking for the morning feed.

Worms eat and create new Earth.

The roosters crow and the hens nestle their eggs.

The labor of love begins.

The team of Earth Stewards at Dragon Heart Farm takes the land for the continuous care-taking necessary for a thriving, intentional agro-ecosystem.

Seeds are sown. Weeds are pulled. Grass is mowed. Fruit is harvested.

Sweat caresses the brow.

Plants are loved. Worms are fed. Vermicompost is screened and bagged.

Fish is fermenting in the barrels, becoming the food that plants crave.

The smell of fresh flowers and fertility is in the air. Old plantings are reworked.

New plans are laid.

We see a human future of sustainable Earth Stewards and we seek to be flag bearers along the way.

Farming is a continuous process of development, maintenance, and harvest. There is always work to be done and a hunger for the health and wealth of nature’s bounty.

Everyday holds a different need, a new task. We are grateful to serve as responsible stewards of this beautiful land.
